This afternoon MAC posted this statement on their Facebook page:
"Out of respect for the people of Mexico, the women and girls of Juarez and their families, M·A·C has decided not to ship the M·A·C Rodarte limited edition makeup collection. This decision will have no impact on M·A·C’s commitment to donate all of its projected global profits from this collection to benefit the women and girls of Juarez. By deciding not to ship the collection does this mean it will not be released at all? In a way I agree with this.. the whole collection was tainted by the ad campaign and the names of the colours and I was boycotting until they announced the donation of all profits, so really I'm happy either way. The charities are getting a good chunk of the money they need, that's all I cared about really.
What are your thoughts on all of this?
