Quick Heads Up..

I've briefly mentioned that my fan in my laptop was making stupid noises and preventing me from starting on my videos, so today I took it to my local Apple Store and it's been sent away to be fixed. Now this means I'm stuck writing to you guys on my million year old laptop that I bought when I was about 8. It doesn't even have Picasa because I don't think it was invented when I used it last! So I have a few programs to download and sort out, but it could be up to 3 weeks before I get my Mac back. So if I'm sluggish to reply to your comments or not posting as regularly as I normally do, that's why!

Also, this weekend I'm walking a MARATHON (why, I do not know!) in Edinburgh, Scotland, so will not be on here from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. I'm doing it with my mum in aid of the charity Walk the Walk and if anyone would like to donate I'm on Just Giving here. Any amount would be so appreciated!

Finally, I'm also flat hunting for August/September. So I'm super busy!

Hi guys,

I just wanted to apologise for my lack of posting over the past few days. I'm helping to open a new restaurant in my town and it is somewhat time consuming! I promise I will be back. I'm headed into London on Wednesday, so my first HOTD and another FOTD to come from that. This weekend I'm walking a marathon overnight in Edinburgh and I hope to be Tweeting live from the walk (if my phone works there!!). And next week is the mine and the boyf's second anniversary, so lots coming up over the next week. I also have my final thoughts on what I've been using of the LUSH haircare proucts I picked up, I have to admit time has changed my opinions of a few!

FYI: I've been having some laptop issues recording videos, but I hope to have my first YouTube videos on the go soon! What do you all want to see?

Annoyyeeedddd..

Man I am getting annoyed. I purposely set aside time to swatch and photograph my lovely new makeup and I have just been called to go to work in half an hour. Grrrr. Hopefully I won't have to stay too late so maybe I can write when I get home. I also just realised how much I didn't like my makeup from my last post. I think it looks a little.. grimey.. muddy.. I don't know there's just something about it. Anyway, if it's not too late I promise to post. Otherwise tomorrow morning *fingers crossed*. Anywayyy.. I'll have a little chat later :)

Ohhh man am I tired. I have to apologise, I just can't be bothered to take pictures of my new little haul. I need sleep. But here is the look I created in my makeup lesson today, I wanted to focus around my MAC eyeshadow Antiqued.

YouTube?

Just a shortie for today, I'm wondering whether to start doing YouTube tutorials?

I'd probably have to start with pictures and a voice over since I don't really have something to video with.. but maybe it would be a way to get my blog out there?

Just a quickie post as I'm off to bed in a sec! I wasn't planning a review of this or anything but I have gone crazy for my GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner!! It has everything: staying power, pigment, ease of use.. the list goes on!

The day I bought this I swatched it for you guys, what I didn't say in the post was that after swatching I tested it's staying power, I figured if it could really stand up to handwashing, sanitizing, showering, blah, blah, blah then it would be worth the money. Well, this took 3 DAYS to come off properly, and now I've started using it regularly I have to use a heavy duty oil-based removed to get it off. The colour is gorgeous (see below!). It applies fully pigmented first time with great coverage. I can't praise this product enough and I'm so happy I just happened to grab it off the GOSH counter! I love wearing this in my lower lash line for work as a quick snap of colour, but it worked amazingly well as an eyeshadow base too!
